Sprinkler Start ups and
Blow Outs
Seasonal maintenance is imperative to prevent pipe bursts and system leaks in a climate like Bozeman. Pipes (and the water in them) will freeze over the winter in our cold temperatures. When your system starts up in the spring, you’ll want to make sure your water pressure is appropriate, zones are getting full coverage and any leaks or breaks are handled quickly.
At system start up, we turn water back on, set watering schedules, check zone coverage and identify and address required fixes or minor repairs. Start ups typically begin in May so that they are ready to go when the weather gets hot.
Winterization (a sprinkler system blow out) is simple but if done incorrectly, can lead to major fixes required in the early spring. We take care to make sure your system is ready for the winter and all extra water is drained out of the lines. Blow outs typically start in October.
If you are a past customer, you are on our seasonal maintenance list and we’ll call you to schedule your start up or blow out!
